Community overview

An established club. A community just beginning.

North of downtown Ocala, The Club at Iron Lake is an established private club — previously branded Club Adena and developed by Frank Stronach. IronCrest is the brand-new gated residential community now launching around it.

IronCrest is a gated, master-planned private club community on 661 acres, part of a 1,274-acre tract acquired in January 2026 by Oculus R Golf LP. The planned unit development was initially approved for up to 236 homesites, with about 240 residences planned. The developer is Altamira Development Company, and founder Liz Phillips has ties to Ocala’s equestrian community.

Phase One’s final plat was recorded in summer 2026, and a ribbon cutting was held September 12, 2026 with the Ocala Metro Chamber. That timing matters: this is a first-offerings story, not a resale market — and Jennifer can help you understand what is launching, in what order, and how to position for it.

There is no resale market at IronCrest yet — the community is newly launching, so there are no meaningful resale statistics to publish. What matters now is release timing, residence types, and getting accurate information as it becomes available.

Launch awareness

New communities release information in phases. Ask Jennifer to keep you posted as IronCrest pricing, releases, and availability are announced.

Financing paths worth exploring.

Jennifer can help qualified buyers compare mortgage options through NEXA Lending. The right program depends on the borrower, property, occupancy, income, credit and current guidelines — and new construction can involve additional timing considerations.

Conventional financing

Qualified buyers may choose from fixed- or adjustable-rate conventional options with down-payment and mortgage-insurance requirements that vary by program. Buyers who may qualify can discuss timing early, before a release opens.

Jumbo financing

Qualified buyers of higher-priced estate and custom homes may explore jumbo loan options, subject to borrower and property eligibility.

VA financing

Eligible veterans, active-duty service members and certain surviving spouses may qualify for VA financing, which may include a zero-down-payment option.

New-construction financing

Qualified buyers building a custom home or buying a newly built IronCrest home may explore financing options suited to new construction, including construction-to-permanent options where available; program rules and availability vary.

Programs, rates, terms, loan limits and funding availability are subject to change. Not all borrowers, properties or communities will qualify. This is not a commitment to lend.
